This Monday was a total solar eclipse! Thanks to a generous donation by Christine (Nathan’s mom), all the students (and teachers) were able to wear solar eclipse glasses to safely view the eclipse. Scott even brought in his telescope (with a special filter) so the kids could see it close up. The eclipse started at around 10am, but peak coverage was closer to 11:30. Everyone had fun getting to see the progression! Fun fact: the next total solar eclipse won’t be visible in the United States until 2044.
