History Teacher

We’re currently seeking qualified candidates for a full-time History Teacher who is passionate about education and learning for the 2024-2025 school year.

 Kino teachers are given the autonomy and academic freedom to teach in the manner that suits them. They have control over their curriculum and teaching styles, and they are able to choose how best to create dynamic lessons that foster student enthusiasm. Hands-on learning, community involvement, and creativity are encouraged. Kino classes are often tailored to student interests. It is the goal of Kino teachers to foster a love of learning in students that will last them a lifetime. Teacher collaboration and community involvement are encouraged.

Finance Director

We’re currently seeking qualified candidates for a Finance Director for the 2024-2025 school year. This position has the option to be part-time or full-time (20-40 hours/week). The Finance Director is responsible for fundraising and managing Kino School’s financial affairs. The position includes coordinating closely with the Director working with the Treasurer of the Board of Directors to communicate the financial condition of Kino School, interfacing with potential funding partners, and communicating with parents and other Kino community members. This is a 12 month position with abridged summer hours.

Part-Time Industrial Arts Teacher

Kino School is hiring! We’re currently seeking a Part-Time Industrial Arts Teacher who is passionate about education and learning.

Responsibilities include teaching welding, woodworking, and/or mechanics to junior high and high school students, designing and developing project-based curriculum for multiple courses that is industry relevant and allows students to have work-based learning experiences, and creating a safe, welcoming classroom environment that reflects and supports diversity of the student population and community.
